Here's To The Big Fake Holiday
I hate Valentine's unless I make a business, commercialize it even more and make capital out of idiots but that’s a whole chalk and cheese story.
Oh the day that couples think they don’t have to get a room and they are cold sober.
The main thing about Valentine’s is probably the flowers and I absolutely detest the idea of giving flowers. I don’t know why they always associate women with flowers it’s something that grows from the ground, you pluck take all the thorns out, wrap in nice pretty paper and then watch it decay.
You know decaying flowers in a bed room is utterly bad for Feng-Shui.
Why not buy me a nice diamond that takes ages to form in the ground, takes lots of investment to retrieve, days of processing, months of designing and will virtually never decay.
If you are going to tell me about blood diamonds, don’t tell me you want to wear flowers on your engagement or get be happy with a gold or white gold band.
Sure a diamond doesn’t symbolize the love of a marriage but seriously…
Then again, I rather get a house for an engagement and buy a huge ass diamond myself.
Probably tattoo my husband’s name on my finger and when he cheats on me I will sever it, embalm the finger and mail it to the address of his mistress and him.
