Industrial Signs
I like Marilyn Manson a lot seriously. Apparently since Secondary 2 when a supposedly computer geek traded songs frequently with me.
It's pretty gay but honestly, think about those actual mutes who are actual fans of industrial rock. That's one quite concert and you have to have the lights on so they can see and communicate with each other.

Cubicals
I hit my head against a toilet cubical door while trying to get out. As in pulling the door towards myself too fast without moving back.
IT WAS ONLY CAUSE PUBLIC CUBICALS ARE TOO SMALL YOU KNOW.
My boyfriend hit his head against a pillar while laughing at his girlfriend getting hit by a toilet door.

You cannot imagine my fear when I got there. Bad experiences from Jurongville's own CIP day at the Blue Cross Home (yeah, ironic isn't it?) have left their mark. Background

It was another home but for the mentally disabled who were allowed to run around everywhere, contradictory the home was more like mad house on the loose.
I remembered staying in the middle of my classmates to have them not touch me. There was one woman who would hold you tight and tell you that she's scared of everything and another man who would accidentally touch your boobs and butt repeatedly (not much of an accident when almost all the other girls were his victims).
Enough about that.
Today the smells and sights left me half conscious and half in guilt and pity when we were first given a tour of the home. Honestly I really felt like vomiting.
Some residents had to be tied to their beds since their involuntary movements could cause them to fall off from their beds, while the rest had to be strapped to their wheelchairs. I stayed away from the beds and close to Sharyn.
And we had to sing "I wanna hold your hand" 13 times if I'm not wrong as part of the entertainment program to each room.
At the end of the day at least I overcame my fear and fed one patient. I got used to the sights after awhile. I felt more compassionate and less judgmental cause in the first place I didn't want to interact with them in case I hurt their feelings. And my (new) class bonded and learnt cooperation and compassion.
Knowledge found here is to never treat a fever lightly as most patients became like this due to fever in their younger years.
PS: Special thanks to Siti Syzwani our CIP rep.

A Night With Broken Social Scene In SINGAPORE
“The following members of Broken Social Scene are not here today: Emily Haines (boo), Lisa Lobsinger , Evan Cranley.... Leslie Feist (WHY WHY WHY! I swear I would run around doing that 1, 2 ,3, 4 dance if she came!) And Mas Selamat Kastari. We still have no idea where he is.”
“But all the way from Toronto, the original members of Broken Social Scene are here to perform for you today...”
----------
Broken Social Scene is by far the best concert I've ever gone to. Their music flows to you in vibes and waves of love. Even at a seat furtherest away from them you could feel a very much personal set with them.
With links from song to song and little conversations in between there was an overwhelming desire to get up and just dance.
They even played my favourite songs "Super Connected", "KC Accidental", "I'm Still Your Fag", "Fire Eye'd Boy"
The band also managed to do their own version on 1 2 3 4 "Oh teenager!!" that still made Aliff and I want to go around running, prancing and dancing across the halls.
Though they did not manage to complete it since Kevin Drew forgot the lyrics.
The crowd was lovely. The ambience was great.
They said they would only stay for 30 minutes but they stayed till the last fan got an autograph and I was one of the last, at adds up to them staying for more than an hour or so. I made them sign my school's diary which has the "subculture" drawing on it to hide my school's huge ass logo and they liked it and said it looked cool.
Well Kevin Drew started drawing on the plastic cover as his own additions to the picture. Whatever it was a huge ego boost for me whether or not it was true it made one lucky fan happy.
I went home high on music and on air with BSS on replay while fantasizing with sleeping with them. WOO-HOO.
I have a sudden inspiration to give out a vibe of happiness I caught from them.
Special thanks to Aliff for keeping me company and sharing this wonderful night with me!
What can we say, it was just awesome AWESOME awesome AWESOME awesome AWESOME awesome AWESOME awesome AWESOME.
PS. Andrea you should have gone!!
