About

I am the Uncertainty Principle.
Hi, I'm Alis. Well, I'm the alter-ego of Cheryl - a twenty-something year old.
Cheryl's a stoned kid who loves indie music, drum and bass, novels, autobiographies, probability and statistics, economics, physics, typography, dark elements, cigarettes and beer. Comes from a dysfunctional family like everyone else. Dresses funny and is barefaced most of the time. Is a huge behaviour nazi.
Meanwhile I, Alis want to be a barefooted politician.

Some time ago I had a night out with the girls and we went back to this cafe with one really cute employee. I got my flirt on (which really means I was just being coyish because I am a coward) and hoped for the best but that was rudely put to a stop by a quick search on Facebook. This guy has rubbish for interests and is disgusting online.

Then there's another story... I was on the bus heading home from school in my uniform and looking extremely shitty from fatigue. Someone finally found the seat beside me and together we sat through an excruciating journey. Somehow or rather both of our attention was placed on each other's ipods. Our ipods also began to move closer and closer to each other. We had a lot in common in terms of music taste and vivaciously approved of each other in body language. When my stop had finally arrived, I took one good look at him and we both smiled as if we'd enjoyed each other's company - in that moment I realised how attractive he actually looks. Back then I think I regretted for days for not doing anything and wished for the same to happen again for a week.

My point is, I don't judge by looks and whenever I do I get smacked back by the cosmic forces.

I judge based on music taste, character, body language and perception - everyone should know that...
